Community Engagement
The HKU Health System Clinical Centre (HKUHS CC) supports primary healthcare initiatives developed by the Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Collaboratory (CPHC) at HKUMed. These initiatives are specifically designed to meet the diverse and evolving primary healthcare needs of the community, including health education for the public and training for healthcare workers, and through active collaboration with the District Health Centre and the District Health Centre Express.
Educational Public Talks
We are dedicated to enhancing health and well-being within the community. To achieve this, our team of nurses at the Centre is actively engaging with community members by organising and delivering educational talks at various organizations. These talks aim to provide valuable information on various health topics, empower individuals with knowledge, and promote healthy lifestyle choices that can lead to improved overall wellness. The collaborating organizations are as follows:
-
District Health Centre (DHC) and District Health Centre Express (DHCE)
-
Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (Elderly Neighbourhood Centre)
Conducts outreach Phlebotomy Training workshop to DHC/DHCE nurses
