HKUMed Travellers' Clinic

HKUMed Travellers’ Clinic is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of travellers worldwide. Supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, we offer updates on disease outbreaks, health advice on protection against insects and other travel-related diseases, guidance on safety in various environments, and recommendations for vaccinations etc. These services cater to travellers seeking personal heath protection and compliance with entry requirements for certain countries.

*The Travel Health Centres of the Department of Health are the designated centres in Hong Kong to provide Yellow Fever vaccinations. Please note that a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is an entry requirement for certain countries and is valid only 10 days after injection. Please reserve sufficient time for vaccination before your trip. Refer to: https://www.travelhealth.gov.hk for further information.

Service Fee

$1,200-$2,200

*Above information is for reference only and the actual professional fee may vary depending on the nature and complexity of each case. Also, it excludes fees for other procedures, medications, laboratory, labour cost and medication fees of emergency allergic symptoms and medications prescribed for symptomatic relief of allergic symptoms. 

Booking Procedure

Book an Appointment
  • Visit the clinic’s website, WhatsApp or call to schedule a pre-travel consultation
  • Choose a date that allows enough time before your departure for vaccinations to take effect (preferably 8 weeks prior)

Fill and Submit Online Questionnaire
  • Complete the questionnaire online before your appointment

  • Including travel dates and destinations

 3 

Prepare Your Itinerary and Vaccination Record
  • Bring a detailed itinerary including: Countries and regions to be visited; Duration of stay; Purpose of travel; Planned activities

  • Previous vaccination record if available

Consultation & Assessment
  • Review Patient’s health and travel details

  • Assess risks based on destination-specific health threats

  • Recommend necessary vaccinations, medications (e.g. malaria prophylaxis), and preventive measures

  • Provide education on food/water safety, insect protection, and emergency care abroad

 5 

Vaccination, Medications & Follow-Up
  • Receive recommended vaccines

  • Get prescriptions for travel medications if needed

  • Schedule follow-up appointments for multi-dose vaccines or post-travel health checks
