Vaccination Programme
Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme
Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to prevent seasonal influenza and its associated complications. To support the health and well-being of our HKUMed community, we are offering a vaccination programme for students. Our qualified nurses are on hand to administer the vaccines and provide health education towards vaccination.

Health Screening Programme
New Professional Degree Student Health Screening and Vaccination Programme
The Centre's nursing staff conducts health screenings for incoming medical students at the start of each seminar series. This initiative ensures that students are in optimal health for their academic pursuits and are protected through appropriate vaccinations. The health screening procedure encompasses blood tests, professional guidance based on laboratory results, and the administration of necessary immunizations.

N95 Respiratory Fit Test Programme

In order to ensure the safety of students in clinical settings, the Centre conducts respiratory fit tests for newly enrolled students. These tests are crucial as they assess whether the students are properly fitted with respiratory protective equipment, such as masks, which are essential for their protection against potential airborne hazards while working in healthcare environments.
The centre provides guidance throughout the testing process to ensure that each student understands the importance of proper fit and is equipped with the necessary knowledge to maintain their safety during clinical practice.
